Drymen is ideally located for touring Scotland, with easy access
to the Western Highlands, the central belt and the cities of Glasgow

- Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is the largest fresh water Loch
in the United Kingdom, 24 miles long and five miles wide and at

- The West Highland Way
Scotland's first official long distance
walk, the West Highland Way is a fantastic 95-mile trail from
Milngavie to Fort William. The Way passes through Drymen, making
it a natural stop-over location, or a place to explore parts of

- The Rob Roy Way
Starting in Drymen, the Rob Roy Way is Scotland's
newest official long distance walking route. It follows paths
used by Rob Roy MacGregor in the 17th and 18th centuries, and
finishes in Pitlochry in the heart of Perthshire. More information

- Glengoyne Distillery
Located in nearby Killearn, a tour
of the Dumgoyne Distillery gives you a glimpse of the unique production

- Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
Drymen is located in Scotland's first
national park, opened in autumn 2002. For full details please

- Stirling
The historic city of Stirling is only 30 minutes
drive from Drymen, and offers visitors a wide range of attractions.
Highlights include the magnificent castle and the Wallace Monument,
commemorating William Wallace, whose life was celebrated in the
film Braveheart.
- Highland Games
Traditional Highland Games are held
in many towns and villages close to Drymen during the summer months.

Designated as a Forest Park in 1953,
the QEFP is a wonderful place to visit for those looking to get
away from it all. Walks, cycling routes, horse-riding, view points,

are within easy diriving distance of Drymen, and offer the visitor
